Nordija have constructed a solution for streaming of live TV for Danmarks Radio. It's built using open souce components, streams in the standard format h.264 and works on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows. Players are done using QuickTime and Video Lan Client.
The streams are only available in Denmark because of geofiltering.
