Plan B v1.3

Nordija has released v1.3 of Plan B - a tool to aid the planning of agile projects.

Pair Programming Ratio

The most exciting new feature in this release is the introduction of the calculation of "pair programming ratio".

When viewing an iteration, Plan B shows a calculated field that shows the ratio of work time used in pairs over work time in total. This ratio number can be used as a quality measurement goal, as more time done in pairs makes the need for stuff like code reviews less important.

In addition to pair programming ratio we have other new stuff in this release:

• We have introduced a wiki-based online users manual, which we will be expanding on
• It has been made much easier to change time available on an ongoing iteration when the resource situation changes
• Functionality in handling tasks on user stories have been extended, to make it possible to mark tasks as finished
