Why, when (and where) did you join Nordija?
For the first time, I met with the Nordija Team at Andina Link tradeshow in Cartagena, Colombia, in February 2019, where I worked as the Tradeshow manager for the past 3+ years.
After the show ended, we met at El Carnaval de Barranquilla for a post tradeshow party and had an immediate connection with the team.
''In April 2019, we met once again at NAB show in Las Vegas, where I was officially hired at a pool party with a bottle of Champagne. What a great start to an amazing journey!''
And why did I join the Nordija Team?
I fell in love with the culture of the company, the vision, and philosophy. Let’s say when I’m out traveling for work with the Team, I feel that I’m with family. It was the best decision I have ever made. I strongly believe, to this date, that Nordija stands out due to its employees.
It has been a year so far on the Nordija journey, helping expand our IPTV/OTT in the LATAM region market. We have seen a growth of interest in the small ISP’s community and where we are exploring the alternatives for their solution.
What is your role at Nordija?
My primary role is LATAM Sales Director.
Managing future clients in the region and searching for new opportunities.
I actively travel with the Team and participate at conferences and tradeshows like IBC, NAB, nexTV events in the LATAM region, or Andina link.
My mission is to help Nordija expand in LATAM, exploring new strategies to help small operators throughout the region.
The “Hygge” feeling! (look up the definition)
I must say the most remarkable highlight from last year and in Nordija, has to be the one-to-one session that I participated at nexTV CEO conference in Mami. It was the first time I was on the stage to talk about Nordija in the LATAM region. I was confident and felt it was an amazing presentation.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working? And what are your interests and passions outside of work?
I would say travel, for work or pleasure as I love to travel, immerse in other cultures, food tasting and art hopping and of course spending time with my family.
Looking forward to connecting with you.
